2025 is off to a flying start already. With January almost over, it’s hard to keep up! This years interior trends are already starting to emerge over social ,media and Interior Design blogs. We know how busy you are, so we’ve made it easier to keep up. In this blog, we will detail the trends that are going to rise this year, so you can keep your finger on the pulse. Don’t hold back on patterns Colour is always in, patterns on the other hand can be trickier. However, this year more and more Living Rooms are going to start incorporating patterns. They’re a great way to add a statement pop in your space, and as an accent, they can completely transform your space. At The Lounge Co. we have a big range of patterned Accent Fabrics, ranging from ditsy to ornate. Choosing the right Patterned Accent can take your Living Room for homely to chic. Our favourite for this year is our Pattern Paradise? Bird Sage Fabric. This Fabric is detailed and intricate, you won’t find anything else on the market quite like it. Plus, the refined sage tones make for a warm and stylish colour palette. If you love the pattern but aren’t sold on Scatters, consider wallpaper. We love this one from Allen Braithwaite for a bold opulent style. Turning Red In 2025, we are turning red! Rich royal blues will be moving over for the bold, warm tones of Red. Red makes a powerful statement in any room it’s in, which can make it quite intimidating to use. But, when styled properly red can pack a stylish punch. Our favourite red Fabric for 2025 is Burmese Ruby. This sumptuous deep red is cosy and warm, and makes for the perfect statement Sofa shade. If a Sofa isn’t your style, look to the floor. A deep red, Persian style rug can really warm up a room. This one from Dunelm won’t break the bank, but doesn’t scrimp on style. Plums and Purples Continuing with the warm tones, purple is going to be having a big revival this year. The deep, plum tones of purple scream luxury lounging. Purple is typically warm and inviting too, so can make for a really cosy, statement Sofa. We have some beautiful purple Fabrics but our favourite purple Fabric for the year is Frosted Grape, which is one of our opulent Velvet Touch Fabrics. Love the colour but not the commitment? Pink took over Social Media, our clothes and even our Living Rooms. Although the initial flurry of hot, Barbie pink has slowed down, we think the colour will be back for 2025 with a slightly more sophisticated look. This year, dusty pinks are gong to rise in popularity. Our favourite pink for 2025 is our Ballet Skirt fabric. Rosy and muted, this is the perfect sophisticated Pink for any Living Room. If you want a smaller way to add in some pink to your space, smaller accents like this vase from Next can be a simple affordable way. Luxurious velvets Everyone loves a bit of luxury, and what feels more luxe than a plush, Velvet Sofa. Making a statement with your Sofa isn’t just down to colour. The texture of your Sofa can make a big impact on a room too. Whilst Velvet has always been popular, Cotton and Chenille’s have dominated the Fabric of our Sofas, but this is slowly shifting towards Velvet and will continue to do so.
